Faye, aka Sista Faye / Fayemus....... I have been singing since I was 10 in my primary school choir, but I really shaped my focus when I joined Second Wave Centre for Youth Arts in Deptford, London in 1999. I had the pleasure to perform with some truly amazing local artists and musicians, doing everything from summer festivals to jazz musicals. I then left to study in Brighton in 2003, which helped me to develop further through being influenced by even more wonderful people! some of the best DJs, producers, singers, musicians and just generally people that i've ever met. Throughout my degree I promoted my night called Soul Acoustic, which I hope to carry on even though I'm back in London now. I've been singing with the excellent Small Fool for over three years (look out for our album soon,hopefully!) and have recently started working with the geniuses that are JetTricks!! (look out for their album even sooner!) I now have also started doing backing vocals for the truly amazing Conner Reeves, who has the kindest soul, the greatest voice and the funniest sense of humour! It is wonderful to work with Conner and rest of the band! Most recently I have joined Carnival Collective, woo woo!! The most exciting musical project to come outta Brighton Town...check us out!! keep a look out for new material from me, but for now........ Listen and enjoy xx
